The
control head is detached and comes with remote cable
for easy installation. The TM-V71A is a true dual-band
operation radio so VHF+VHF/VHF+UHF/UHF+UHF operation
is possible.
The Kenwood
TM-V71A is a 2m/70cm dual band mobile transceiver.
The radio has a color switchable (green or amber)
LCD display with the unique capability of mounting
the speaker on the top or the bottom of the radio
(simply flip the body of the rig over).
Other features include cross-band repeat, CTCSS tone
encode & decode, dual receive, dual in-band receive
(VHF/VHF or UHF/UHF), built-in EchoLink sound card
interface, ten dedicated EchoLink memory channels,
1000 PC programmable memory channels, weather alert
mode, multiple scanning modes, and more.
