Wide Band Receive
495 kHz - 1309.995 MHz*, AM/FM/WFM. Preprogrammed TV and Shortwave
memories. Listen to AM & FM broadcast radio stations,
police, fire, military, aircraft, various amateur bands, and
more.
Weather Alert
A first in handheld receivers! The weather alert function
helps keep you informed of any weather emergencies, so you
can respond fast. Great for when you are out in the field!
PC programmable
Connect to your PC for programming & cloning. Optional
software (CS-R5) & cable (OPC-474) are required. USB type
cable (OPC-478U) is also available.
Rugged Construction
Weather resistant construction make the IC-R5 great for active
outdoor operation.
Memory channels
1250 Memory Channels With alphanumeric naming. 1000 memory,
25 scan edge pairs, 200 auto-write scan memory channels (Max.
